Depth of field autofocus range

Hey guys, quick question:

Does anyone know if there is a way to modify where the near blur starts? Right now, I'm using autofocus, and it's working great for the far blur, but the near blur starts like 1 cm away from my focus point, regardless of nearblurcurve, which only seems to affect the intensity of the near blur (even if I set the value to 1000, it starts right at the focus point). I don't know why, but the far blur doesn't seem to have that issue.

Any ideas?
