How to toggle individual effects via key codes?

Is this possible?
That way users could frame a shot and then turn on the DOF for the screenshot and then remove the effect. ( like for third person games or low performance PCs)

Sure is. Easiest way to do it is probably to move those effects in their own separate technique with its own toggle key.
