Error x3004: undeclared identifier "AO_TEXSCALE"

I've been trying to use MasterEffect Reborn 1.1.287 with Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the First Sin, and I consistently get the same error when opening the game, which is the error in the title. if anyone has instructions on how to fix this, that would be nice. the offending segment of code is apparently (1236, 18) in Reshade.fx (MasterEffect has an existing Reshade.fx that replaces Reshade.fx in the Game folder)
