Hi,Crosire!Happy New Year and thanks for your hard work :) !

The same problems with all three versions of Reshade :oops: .
By the way, in RAGE -x64 exe, no problem, the game work -- opengl log -- pastebin.com/7bfhFeMt
All games in Windows 8.1 Update3 (all updates to date, DirectX, audio, vcredist,video drivers_344.75 and 347.09(NVidia EVGA GTX680 4GB)

The logs look pretty ok to me and I know Wolfenstein previously worked, so what is happening? Does it not apply effects? Does the ReShade overlay show up? Does it crash?
Also please try 0.10.0 and report if the same issues are present there too.

Wolfenstein New order still refuses to work, tried all Reshade versions from the 0.10.0 to the 0.12.0.
Tried it with mastereffects and without. I get the Reshade message "success" , i hear the sound from the game, but only a black screen.
Rage x32 and x64 work perfect, Dead space, Batman AO, all fine ....only Wolfenstein not.

Thought I might add my "black screen" experience here as well. It doesn't have to do with either of these games, but rather, seems to only be an issue with SweetFX and SMAA.

I've been working on a custom set of shaders using effects from MasterEffect and SweetFX; when I went to implement SMAA I got the black screen -- FYI: SweetFX for me loads with a black screen, even when I turn everything off.

With the SMAA script, I know it is doing something because when I set SMAA_EDGE_DETECTION to 3 (Depth edge detection) I do see the color outline of the pixels of edges whilst everything else is black.

I'm using OpenGL 32 bit if that helps any. EDIT: the last error message from the log file:

SikkPin ? If its you and you work on custom shaders ....great. Is it possible to do a menu( like for sikkmod) for reshade ?

@Topic : I forgot to say that i never use sweetfx, but i have that black screen. Like i said before , rage x32 and x64 work without problems.

Found a case I wasn't properly handling in OpenGL, which could cause black screens. One particular candidate was SpaceEngine, I don't own Wolfenstein, so can't tell if it's the same problem (but I hope so). Anyway, fixed in the next version, so lets hope this applies to these games here aswell.

For Wolfenstein, I use Reshade with no shaders and I still get black screen in game. Wolf issue right now is with reshade. Maybe when reshade works we will see issues after we add shaders but until then ....

For me, enabling SMAA causes Rage to crash on startup. Rage works fine with sweetfx + Reshade and SMAA off. That is the 32bit Rage. I haven't done testing on 64bit Rage.

13 fixes Chronicles of Riddick!!... sort of. It still has a problem hooking sometimes where I'm left with a black screen. Sometimes I have to ALT-TAB before I get to the main menu. You're definitely closer though. Here's proof that it works. I'm using Sweet.fx instead of ReShade.fx to fix the contrast since Chronicles of Riddick has some of the best in-game DoF I've ever seen.

I tried it again this morning and here's the exact order of events.
  1. Launch the game
  2. ReShade shows it successfully hooked with no errors in the upper left hand corner
  3. Licensing info screen comes up
  4. Mature logo comes up, and stays up
  5. Main Menu music starts playing but all you see is the Mature logo
  6. Toggling ReShade OFF shows the games Main Menu where it prompts me to hit ENTER to access the Options or Continue my Game
  7. Once in game toggling ReShade back ON shows static image of the Mature logo screen
  8. ALT-TAB out and back in ReShade effects display properly
  9. After that toggling ReShade ON and OFF works normally

NOTE: Just tried it again and toggling ReShade OFF once I heard the menu music didn't show me the Main Menu. It was still stuck on the Mature logo. Once I did the ALT-TAB out trick it fixed it.

I have a minor bug to report:
Currently using 0.13.2 on Wolfenstein: The New Order. If I ALT+TAB and go back it works fine. But If I ALT+TAB and modify SweetFX_settings.txt then when I go back it only shows a black screen, which makes it impossible to modify shaders in-game. Might be affecting other OpenGL titles as well.

Finally found the problem in the shader compiler causing black screens with SweetFX when there aren't any with MasterEffect. Fixed in the next version.

The Chronicles of Riddick still give me a black screen ingame, if i try it alone with reshade there be no Problem, but if i start it with Reshade+Mastereffects(even with no effects enabled)...black ingame except the hud for health (stamina BAR).
I used the newest reshade and mastereffects.
