Okay this issue has been bugging me for some time now. I recently swapped my GPU from R9 270x to RX 580. I bought a decent cabinet with three fans installed in it. I thought it is gonna be a smooth ride but it isn’t. My GPU runs very hot. I mean it touches like 75c just 5 minutes into games like witcher 3, Assassins Creed Origin etc. & 80c in about 10 more minutes. Yesterday I was playing Apex Legends I Glanced at temperatures it was 85-86c with 89c as max temp. I stopped playing immediately.
I initially thought maybe It was the position of my PC that caused it but even after changing position to entirely diffrent room, the problem persisted. I tried to change the location of my case fans, tried combinations like 2 front+1 back, 1 front+ 1 back+ 1 top, 1 front+ 1 back+ 1 bottom (below the gpu) Nothing so far. I have ordered 2 New case fans with higher air flow, But I am doubtfull it will solve anything at this point. I have a Cooler Master 500 watt psu 8gb of Gskill trident Ram My processor runs at 60c max under load.
