OK, so the problem persists.

I've done the following:
1. Run the installer to uninstall ReShade.
2. Go into the game's EXE folder and remove any left over .INI files.
3. Run the installer to install ReShade and download presets.
4. Manually copy qUINT_common.fxh and qUINT_lightroom.fx to the shaders folder.
5. Start game.

Getting the error message saying there were 'some' problems compiling the shader. When going into Statistics or Log, every single text line of qUINT_lightroom.fx returns a...

Uhm.. pretty weird.
Try uninstalling reshade completely, then reinstall it and see if it works (remember to do a backup first).
If it keeps not working do a screen and post it here. We'll try to guess what's wrong.

Edit: This turned out to be due to AMD's driver AA being applied to Project64, disabling Pj64's profile in AMD's settings fixes the visuals. It doesn't seem to matter whether supersampling or MSAA is chosen, any setting seems to break ReShade. I don't know if it's possible to work around that or not, the driver level AA from Nvidia or AMD is a really nice enhancement over the emulator options but at the very least ReShade works now.

I switched to an AMD card and now get a different "error while creating OpenGL context" message. The log now seems to get stuck at " 'wglCreateLayerContext' failed with error code 0!" Can anyone please take a look at this? I think being unable to use ReShade at all with a popular emulator is big problem.

So i tried searching and other seem to have the issues with Alan Wake, but no solutions. Older SweetFX, or MasterEffect work fine, and 3.0.0 to 3.0.3 also work. But 3.0.4 gives me an error (D3DXCreateTextureFromFileInMemoryEx failed - Invalid call) 3.0.6 or 4.x.x series give not errors, they just don't load at all.

You can either delete reshade files from your game's directory or just run reshade setup and select the game executable, it will automatically uninstall the mod.

There is a game where i want to try reshade but it cant load shareds and they stuck in loading loop.
Game uses OpenGL and all shaders here are self written. Ive searched through forums and found an answer that its more a game issue and shaders unable to hook.
The thing is, i can contact developer and he could tweak things i order to make reshade work.

I'm trying to make MUGEN 1.1 work on OpenGL with reshade. The game crashes once I have added filters to it. Here's the log:

I am having a similar problem, I have 4.1.1 installed (and have uninstalled and reinstalled it since this problem started). Whenever Reshade starts up it says I have version 3.4.1 and that an update is available.

Howdy folks! I ran into an issue installing Atma Weapon for FF6 and got some help in the discord channel - turns out the issue was with reshade 4.x.x in opengl. Installing 3.4.1 fixed the issue. Saftle asked me if I could be so kind as to drop some info in there to potentially help you guys track the issue, so here I am!

When installing a newer version over an already existing one, the installer should overwrite it and update automatically. If it messes up, I suggest you to uninstall it and then reinstall again.

Ok, try this: Uninstall reshade completely, then launch Starbound to make sure there no problem with the game.
Reinstall reshade with administrator rights (not sure it could help, but why not try) and check the effects you want to load.

If it keeps causing issues a screenshot might help. There are several ways to do those, like using steam, you GPU brand software or other third-part programs.
If you have the game on steam, just press F12. Alternatively, press Alt+F1 if you have Nvidia GPU or...

Since 4.0 you can just use the setup tool to uninstall it. Point it to the game you installed ReShade to and it will give you an option to uninstall.

In the game's folder, remove ReShade's DLL. If you are not sure which one is, hover the mouse over and let the pop-up box tell you. Try hovering the mouse over those: DXGI, D3D9, D3D11 or Opengl.

I take it back, there is an error that appears in the log:

I'm also a bit confused because the log shows it using opengl32.dll in C:\Windows\System32 when it's a DX11 game (and 64-bit).

It aint works by default? I have not played much with Reshade 4, i trited 1st release, it gave me shit load of compilation errors in other shader, i rage quit and uninstalled it and returned to 3 and posted some angry rant here explaining Crossire why breaking compatibility AGAIN is no way to go.

Damn, i got to look if it works with 4 now, and i also got to remember which of my games had the latest version of it, i got to update what i posted here, its not the latest one.
