That doesn't matter. It's the same engine and it's the engine that matters and does the Direct3D calls, not the game assets.

i've tried in two different computers with windows 8.1 64bit and with nvidia card, and say

I wasn't saying I don't believe you, I'm just confused, because there's nothing I'm aware that could possibly cause that much trouble. And I'm utterly sorry it is not yet working for you. =)

You do have DirectX installed on the computer that "D3D10CreateDevice" error message came up? Because interesting enough it tries to find the entry point in the game executable, not the DLL and that's something I have never seen before, nor does it make any sense.

have the same problem with assassin creed 1 in windows 8.1 64bit using dx10 and with gtx970
anyone can you test this game with windows 8.1 64bit using dx10 ?
