Hello again,

I've been using ReShade with Quake III Arena, or more precisely, with the excessive dawn source port (edawn-mod.org/).

The problem is that ReShade only applies to a part of the DSR resolution, 1920x1080 in 4K, and the same in 5K (which makes it a little less than a quarter).

opengl32.dll does not get loaded with the unmodified (GOG version) Quake III Arena, so I cannot make a comparison with that..

If you are talking about DSR via the driver, then that's expected, since to ReShade the buffers still have the original resolution. It's just the driver that forces them to be bigger then they are. As such ReShade doesn't know DSR is active and happily renders in the original resolution. The DSR resolution would need to be set in the game itself for ReShade to pick it up.

Hmm, but ReShade has always been applied to the whole screen in every game so far, even with DSR. The resolution for Q3A is set in q3config.cfg:
seta r_customheight "2160"
seta r_customwidth "3840"
