IL-2 Cliffs of Dover Blitz incompatible with ReShade 3.2 - 4.x was created by JG4_Karaya
For some reason ReShade is incompatible with IL-2 Cliffs of Dover Blitz from version 3.2.0 onwards. The last working version is 3.1.2, anything past that CTDs in menus and upon mission loading.

Game is a bit special in that it uses D3D9 to render the menus, but D3D10 for the rest of the game. And the menus are not redrawn constantly, which breaks ReShade. ReShade therefore now disables itself in the menu and only pops up during flight.

Hi there. It still CTDs, but only with Quick Missions. I guess it has a different briefing mechanism/menu change than regular missions. Should I create a new thread?
@witchywoman, best way to install is to copy your launcher.exe file to /parts/core/ folder, and use that .exe to install reshade.

Yes, the issue isnt really solved.
The game still reproducibly crashes in the menus, especially when going into the aircraft loadout section.
Could this perhaps be looked at?
