Damn @Marty... I've always felt you were not of this world, now I got the proof.

This GI implementation is breathtaking!
Since it leans to ray tracing, despite being screen-space (can we call it "Ray-Almost-Tracing" ?), can I ask how does it perform for now?

Since it leans to ray tracing, despite being screen-space (can we call it "Ray-Almost-Tracing" ?), can I ask how does it perform for now?
It's kind of path tracing, since ray tracing only follows one ray, path tracing many to integrate the final image. So let's call it almost path tracing. And it all depends on how many rays you shoot, so in lowest acceptable setting, it's only a bit slower than MXAO on my end, when on highest setting, it can cripple any card easily, but at some point you won't see visible improvement. I'm currently trying to make it as noise free as possible.

Can I request that when people share screenshots, to also provide a link to their preset? Invariably others will want to use the same preset for the game they're playing, and it's a nice way of contributing to the community.
