So I am unsure where to start looking for a reason that this happens. I have been using Reshade + Relight for around 6-7 months now, on my almost 10 year old older pc it runs fine but I upgraded to a new PC in March and since then I have been having issues.
Geforce RTX 4070 Ti 12gb
AMD Ryxen 7 7800X 3D 4.2GHz
64 gb ram
The issue I have is when I enable relight when taking screenshots in FFXIV my GPU overheats and all the fans spin up to full. I sadly don't have temps to show as i wasn't looking at the time but I had to remove the side of the tower to let it cool out more and it was soo hot to the touch.
any idea what might be doing this?
