D3D11CreateDeviceAndSwapChain - always stops here?

As noted, i always experience a stop at this point: D3D11CreateDeviceAndSwapChain

I am running Vista ultimate, with GTX970. DX11 is updated to latest. Looking for recommendations for how to troubleshoot working around this stop in attempting to start reshade. Of note, using the ReShade64.dll renamed to dxgi.dll.

This can happen if some other software is interfering. Make sure no overlays, screen recording/streaming software, game boosters or similar are running (like Dxtory or Razer Synapse).

is there a method that can be used to find out if/what may be interfering? I ran again to return the trace log though i do not see anything there. Suggestions?

You can use technet.microsoft.com/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx to check which DLLs are loaded into the process. Anything there not from the system folder could be of interest. Or fire up the Windows Task Manager and try to bring down the running processes to a minimum.
