Hello.
Some time ago, around july, I discovered that with ReShade 6.5.1 installed, games stopped launching. They just hung in endless loading.
At the same time, if you select the wrong DirectX setting, the game starts. The problem is with the correct DX settings.

Games I tried this with (Steam):
Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition - the game does not start with the correct settings.
Oxenfree - the game does not start with the correct settings.
ICEY - a game I played in december 2024 and I know for sure that ReShade worked in it. Now it does not work.

What I tried (nothing helped):
Nvidia 566.36 drivers were installed. I tried to install the latest 580.88. Then 572.42.
Tried old versions of Reshade: 5.9.0, 6.3.3 (found in the trash, old, I'm sure it worked on them) and even 4.6.0.
SweetFX 1.5 doesn't work either. HOWEVER, SweetFX 2.0 works, but it's pretty slow, especially when exiting the game (tried only on Oxenfree).

Updated Windows, in particular Framework (but still on Win 11 23H2) rebooted the computer.
Disabled Steam and Nvidia overlay.

I've read "Introducing: Easy Troubleshooting " and none of that helps.
I ran it as administrator and in compatibility mode (both the game and Reshade).
I added it to the antivirus exception (although there were no problems with this before).
I've tried all the APIs.
I've tried renaming "dxgi".

I don't know what else to try...

Very long startup time when using Reshade was created by Terrorist495
Very long startup time when using Reshade, about 30 seconds and it doesn't depend on the game, I've already disabled the antivirus and all sorts of overlays, rolled back to an older version. The only thing is that I haven't rolled back to an older version of the driver AMD

reshade not injecting properly was created by vlognights
so at this point ive clean installed reshade 5 times, everything is up to date, removed all mods/scripts, checked all directories and paths, disabled all overlays, let gta through firewall, disabled antivirus temporarily, did everything i could think of except maybe trying an older version, it never loaded up and ive got the error in .log (i know that its probably a very common topic but at this point i dont know what to do) i wanna try older versions for reshade maybe but im so lost now

Installing/injecting was created by Puchy
I have tried for a while now to install it to RainBow Six Siege but nothing seems to happen when opening the game. It worked like 5 times earlier when relaunching the game but now it does not work no matter what i try.

Been searching online and tried changing the name of it from dxgii to reshade32/64 or even d3dx11, but nothing is currently working. Checked the logs and there is none. Its emtpy, like its not even trying to inject. Somewhere around that is what i imagine the problem is.

have turned of overlays such as afterburner nvidia even avast antivirus, ubisoft connect and also disabled anti cheat.

I have tried older and the latest version of reshade but nothing is working, tried to inject by myself but found it to hard.

Whatever advice you can give would mean all to me. I need the more Vibrant colors....

ReShade exe not opening was created by EvangelinaSilvercloud
Hello from Austria,

would you please be so kind to help me with a big problem with the newest ReShade installation? I tried it several times to open the exe but nothing happens.

I marked ReShade as safe on AVG (my anti virus program) and added it as an exeption. But that doesn't change it either. I can't open the exe. Not even as an administrator. I use ReShade in Sims 4. An older version is installed but no longer works properly. Therefor I wanted to first uninstall the old version via the ReShade launcher and then reinstall the newest version.

Please help me.

Friendly regards

Evangelina
