I've actually just learned that it's possible to fix that by changing the content box parameters.
Thanks again for the amazing work.

I got a question. In the first post of this thread, there is a mention of 'Scanline Blend Strength', but in Reshade, when I press 'home' I don't see this option leading me to believe I might not have the latest version of the Royale shader. My reshade file is called ReShade_Setup_5.6.0 and works otherwise well. Just as I said, I'm not sure if there is an updated version out there that I need to manually activate in reshade.
Thanks in advance

I love this shader, but I'm afraid it causes screen burn-in on monitors. I had a 1080p one that alot of the time started shivering when using it with RetroArch, that went away after a while. I now own a 2160p HDR one and it caused a temporary burn-in with a certain game with RetroArch. I don't know what's the cause of this or if there's a way to remove this danger, but I'm not going to use it again if there's no solution for this.

The image retention for me was caused by interlacing mode set to on, although it doesn't seem to happen with all games.
So one thing I've noticed when playing games is that if the camera shifts left or right (e.g., scrolling to the right when playing Mega Man), the phosphors themselves will blur. I can't really take a screenshot of it, but if I'm using a slot mask, for example, it'll turn into horizontal lines on one monitor but, weirdly, vertical lines on my higher refresh one (almost like an aperture grille). I've messed around with shader settings, but to no avail. I've noticed a similar sort of thing with other shaders, so is this a problem of, say, monitor/LCD motion blur?

Apologies for the double post (if there's an edit button somewhere, I'm blanking), but in older version of the shader, there were different sample modes. Specifically, I used Smooth (Lanczos), and it looked great for my purposes (notably, it didn't have the issue I described above, either). While it seems like the newest version of the shader lets you specifically fiddle with the settings (and includes a "lowres" version of Slot), I can't seem to replicate the look. Is there an easy way to do that?
