Adaptive tonemapper glitch

When I activate the AdaptiveTonemapper the gamma increases a lot , I can't put an image of it because of the weird interface. any ideas on what to do?

Yes, I have an idea. Change the settings high and low to learn what they do. The set them according to what you've learnt.
