Can we have just the FOV fx?
I've tried to use the PerfectPerspective for some games (for ex. Kingdoms of Amalur) but it does not work properly for all of them.
Simple FOV changing fix would be nice.
Thanks

For now I don't have time to play. But I can tell you that setting anything higher than 90 fov hugely distorts the screen.
The second value has no middle point where the screen would be flat, so one has to play on a very rounded screen. And the background behaves like the eye-view of the alien (from the third episode).

Well, every game handles FOV settings internally.

Check out:
pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Home
for your game and look for FOV at Video settings tab

To get visually pleasing image with Perfect Perspective fx you must match in game FOV with FOV angle in the shader 90-90, 110-110.
To get beyond slider limit, simply duble-click the value and type in number.

Some games use horizontal, some vertical, and some diagonal FOV, to know which one to choose, find some round object and stand in front of it:

...then rotate the camera so that the object is at the corner or side (most distorted)

...and type in ingame FOV in shader settings.

If the object is not perfectly round, or skewed, then change FOV type.
In case above it's diagonal FOV.

It's not possible to increase FOV in post processing, since the image data at the borders of the screen you need for that does not exist.

It warps the existing image data. It doesn't change FOV.

Hmmmm.... increasing resolution by DSR-Factor and the using perfect-perspective (maybe) - this way a more larger image-area is included... but it's croped into real resolution... dunno if this would work, just an idea...

@R3AP3RK1NG
DSR (Dynamic Super Resolution) works very well with Perfect Perspective. I've been using it for few weeks now. It fixes the pixelization problem, but it requires powerful rig. For very old games, performance is fine. :)

DSR can be set up through 3D Settings Management in Nvidia control panel.
Then just select higher then native resolution, normally as you change resolution in game.
If the game has locked resolution to some maximum, there's not much you can do.
