Game Resolution and Window Types

I'm somerwhat new to using ReShade, and I've mostly used it to add more color to games and nothing else.
Recently I've started to play Mafia 3.
It's mostly a broken mess, especially since it either has Windowed or Fullscreen, but has no Borderless Full option.
So I tried Special K, and it works for a few minutes then always crashes.
Mafia 3 crashes even if I just Alt+Tab for a few minutes. It loves to fight back.
So, with Reshade, is it possible to use that as a way to change the Window type?
If this is already implemented, please tell me how.
Thank you,

ReShade has an option to force the game to be windowed. To enable that create an INI file with the same name as the game executable with the following content:To make that window borderless can then e.g. use
github.com/dtgDTGdtg/SRWE
.
[APP]
ForceWindowed=1

Out of pure curiosity, what would be the difference between using this ReShade override and SRWE vs simply putting the game into Windowed mode and using SRWE to make it fullscreen borderless? Does it cause the game to consider itself to be running in "full screen" mode DESPITE running in a window due to ReShade?

If the game already has an option to go windowed, then there is no need to use ReShade to force it. This is for when that option does not exist.

Does Reshade have any secret ability to force a game window to be stretched higher resolutions then rendering resolution? So, people can implement FSR. Or is it saved for Reshade 5?
