ReShade is freezing my MSFS 2024 on launch.

Hi there! 

I installed ReShade for the first time last night as I finally found the method for the MS Store version (using gamelaunchhelper.exe instead) I first tested MSFS 2020 which worked a treat! Everything ran smoothly and looked amazing with no hitches. Next came 2024 and I followed all the same steps (using 2024 files instead) and upon launching the sim, it freezes and doesn’t respond. I thought it may just be taking a while so I left it 30 minutes and nothing. The loading video freezes and the loading bar freezes too. I have to close out of it using the task manager. I tried resetting my cloud save but found no luck. I have also tried an older version of ReShade too to no avail. I’m on the current latest Nvidia graphics driver and SU2.

If anyone has experienced anything of the sort or has any ideas I’d love some advice!

Try disabling FR3 in frame generation. In my case I received this tip on another forum and it worked perfectly.
