[SOLVED] Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst (Ultima server)

I honestly have no idea what's up, someone told me that they got it working, and I tried it, nothing happens at all. No "Welcome to Reshade" type thing, just loads to the main menu. No effects are applied ingame either.

Here's the log. Does anyone have a clue what's up. I'm SURE that the game is DX9. The mediator automatically selected it as well.

Are you sure psobw.exe is the actual game executable and not some launcher or third party program? Check if there are any other executables to be found you could try to install ReShade to.

Oh boy. Some research says that this game didn't ever support 16:9 so they had to edit the exe with a damn hex editor, as shown by the fact that everything is just slightly off center "PSOBB" is the 4:3 version, "PSOBW" is widescreen.. there's also online.exe and option.exe, I checked simply to be sure. Nothing. Also, it's not creating new logs.

Try out a few other possible wrapper names, maybe d3d9.dll is not loaded early enough: d3d8.dll, opengl32.dll, dxgi.dll.

SEGA said it was DX9.0b, but all reports claim it's using Dx8, so you might want to give that a shot? Fingers crossed!

That did it! thanks!

Edit: New issue! is it normal for Reshade to completely break driver forced AA?
