The depthbuffer access is automaticly disabled when ReShade detects multiplayer activity (which is the case for Neverwinter, as it is a MMO). This is to prevent unfair exploitation which could lead to ReShade marked as cheat.
Right now it's still rather unknown to anti-cheat tools, so they may detect it as a hack, in most cases it's ignored though. Punkbuster seems to kick players currently because it detects an unknown Direct3D hook, but it doesn't ban (or at least that did not happen yet). I'm sure this improves upon time.
