So, I installed Reshade 3.0.6 in the new Dx11 64bit version of Diablo 3 RoS. Everything was great at first. I made a couple manual tweaks that had the game looking much better. I think i enabled 4 in total. Clarity, adaptivesharpen, Lumasharpen and HDR. Even Clarity alone made the game look great with some minor value tweaking.
So i was running some Greater Rifts and a strange issue came up. Upon entering a new floor, my framerates would drop exactly to 30 fps, as if they were being locked there. And would stay that way for the entire floor. Then Id go to the next floor and they'd jump back up to 60. After this happened twice I waited until i reached another floor where this issue occurred and toggled Reshade off. Framerates jumped right back up to 60.
I figured Id run some tests to see what the culprit may be. After completing the GR( because theyre timed) I backtracked to one of the levels where the framerate drop occurred and started looking over my Reshade settings. I disabled/enabled each .fx one at a time. But individually they didn't seem to be causing the problem. Mind you, my pc is powerful enough to play D3 on 4k with a solid 60fps for the most part. I tried changing resolutions, first down to 1440p, and then 1080p, no matter which resolution i was on, i still got an exact drop to 30fps on those levels with Reshade enabled, and when toggled off, fps jumped right back up to 60. I thought this was really weird, especially since i couldnt replicate the 30 fps drop when toggling the individual .fx's on/off.
Any ideas or advice? Im pretty new to experimenting with Reshade's settings. In the past I just used Reshade+Sweetfx and download presets that i liked.
