Reshade FPS loss with no shaders on?

Enabling reshade on 1440p seems to cause a 10 fps loss, even if i disable all effects. If i press the key to disable reshade altogether though i gain them back. The statistics tab says theres nothing consuming more than 0.50 fps which is ambient light. Any help? Maybe its the 1440p monitor? Any way to bypass this?
