Depth of Field popping in and out? [Arma 3]

Depth of Field will occasionally pop in and pop out?

I guess you are using the automatic focus. If you are playing in third person mode, I would guess that the character's head, as he moves, will be staying in and out of the center of the screen (if you haven't changed the default focus point).
