Did he try with the latest one? What settings did he activated and does it seem to be dependent on some certain effects?

Thanks for the reply LuciferHawk. He says hes fixed it:

User: "I didn't realize my ini had bdeferredshadows set to 1. I set it to 0 and everything worked fine."
