I use ReShade with Final Fantasy XIV, and I've been using a preset for a long time. I recently decided to update to the latest version of ReShade, and when I did (updating the shaders I use along with it), effects using the depth buffer have started flickering, notably MXAO.
Previously this would happen if I tabbed out of the window, and I could fix it by selecting a depth buffer in the DX11 menu. However, now that menu appears to be rapidly detecting and losing a depth buffer, and selecting the main buffer no longer resolves this issue, and the effect flickers on and off every few seconds while I'm playing.
Is there any way to resolve this, or to revert to an earlier version of ReShade that did not experience this issue?
EDIT: I managed to dig up an old installer, and reverted my version to 4.3.0, which fixed this issue entirely. I'm not sure what changed between then, but I'm no longer seeing the flickering. I also noted that it seems to only occur when the "high network traffic" warning appears. While I understand the reason for that being implemented, I'm quite surprised that it doesn't appear to cause problems in the earlier versions.
