ReShade is causing game to suddendly close

The overlay flickers and buttons don't work, i click any button, to change preset for example, but nothing happens.
Most of the times when I open or close the overlay using the Shift+Home button, it causes the game to suddendly close without any error message, it just closes.
I have uninstalled and reinstall many times, but keeps happening. I also want to know how to avoid presets from changing on its own,.

Please mention some basic system info and above all, THE NAME OF THE GAME.
