Crashing AFTER startup

I have used Reshade for a very long time, have never had any issues.

Currently trying to use it with a mod for Napoleon Total War, I have used Reshade with NTW for years but not with this mod.

I install Reshade per usual, Reshade starts up when the game launches per usual, I can use my different effects and everything is fine on the main menu of the game. However whenever Im in the loading screen to play a battle the game crashes, never had this happen. I have installed and uninstalled Reshade about 100 times trying to get this to work, and Reshade is the only constant in my experimentation that causes this crash.

Other people in the Mods discord say they are able to use Reshade. There is a dxgi.log file that is created....maybe the answer is in the log but I am unable to understand the readouts.
