Lock default preset path?

Is it possible to determine a default preset that will always be loaded when starting a specific game?

I have a setup of three presets within a folder to easily switch between and circle through them. However, reshade is always saving the last used preset as the new default preset when restarting the game at a later time. 
Setting the reshade.ini to read-only solves this issue but prevents on the fly adjustments.
Is there a more elegant way to set a preset as a default (rather than having reshade loading the latest used preset) on restart?
