Beyond All Reason (spring / recoil engine)

Hi all,

I have read through the various guides for troubleshooting, but it would appear that this game eludes me. I've used ReShade with many other games successfully, but this one isn't working.

Beyond All Reason is an RTS, which is not on the list of supported games, so this is a bit of a shot in the dark. My hunch is that the engine is OpenGL based, but I tried installing RS with every available option, just to be safe. The RS overlay does not show using any options.

Has anyone else here tried to make this one work? I'd love to be able to use RS with Beyond All Reason.

Hey, I too was having the same issue and came across a reddit thread for the solution. But basically since Beyond all reason uses a launcher style system the main exe is actually for the launcher but the game exe is in a different folder.
Location to path reshade to is: Beyond-All-Reason\data\engine\(current version of recoil)\spring.exe

One issue I came across though is projectiles and lasers all disappear. only the lighting and distortion shows. As of now there has been a massive lighting and distortion overhaul to the game which adds a lot of what most people use reshade for and again it kinda breaks some of the visuals as well.
