6.4.1 RDR2 update issue

How would I go about troubleshooting this situation.  I was prompted to update ReShade when launching RDR2, but after updating it no longer loads in RDR2 

It's also worth asking whether updating is required.  For the time being, I rolled back my entire RDR2 folder from a backup, which puts it back to 6.3.3 - and it loaded as expected.
