The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Ambient Occlusion

Hi there

I've started playing through The Witcher Enhanced Edition for the first time a week or so ago. I had Ambient Occlusion enabled through Nvidia Inspector and everything was running great and the game looked really good. The other day I upgraded my 2 GTX 970's to 2 GTX 1070's (for when I get to The Witcher 3 :) ) and now ambient occlusion doesn't work no matter what setting I've tried. Using the latest Nvidia drivers (368.69) as well.

I'm just wondering if Ambient Occlusion will work with ReShade? I'd love to re-enable it as I think it looks awesome. I found a link to this website through Steam and some mentioned that you can enable Ambient Occlusion with ReShade for The Witcher Enhanced Edition.

Any help would be great!

Cheers.

Yes. ReShade fully supports The Witcher 3 and gives you various different AO methods you can play around with.

Actually, he is talking about The Witcher: Enhanced Edition. The first game. The only listing we have on the compatibility list is "Good", in that it only works with the GUI. This may have changed though, as the version of ReShade that was used was not 1.0.

Whoops. Sorry about that. In that case, yeah, you may be lucky, but probably not so much. So AO is likely to not work.
