So after my game of The Sims 4 was crashing after installing ReShade on my new laptop, I had decided to troubleshoot.
The mysterious thing was that my crash log didn't have any noticeable errors in compiling. So I looked up the problem and one thing I immediately noticed was that all the people having the same problem as I all had the same GPU as me, the Intel Iris Xe. Looking up "Intel Iris Xe ReShade" helped me find this thread on the Intel Community Forums.

Further along the thread, an Intel Support Member confirms Intel will not be working to fix this or open support for Direct X 9. I am wondering if ReShade devs are even aware of this issue. A quick forum search brought up nothing speaking of this at all. I am curious if there is a workaround possible.
