Linux version

Are there any plans to make a reshade port or release for linux? I use linux because Yuzu runs better on that compared to windows, but I want to use reshade as well for TOTK, WHICH ISNT SUPPORTED.

I think that there are a lot of people who would appreciate Linux Support. While it works in Wine, afaik, it doesn't work with Native games. I have wasted way too much time trying to get ReShade shaders to work with vkBasalt. Just that I'm not sure how realistic the implementation would be, because it's a complex project and uses Windows-exclusive APIs. Still something I'd definitely want, though!

I hate to bump an old thread, but is it possible to finally get a Linux version of ReShade? I think I saw somewhere @crosire mentioning maybe having a version that doesn't do any of the D3D bits but a simple Vulkan layer would do? A Linux version using a Vulkan layer would probably cover 99% of  Linux gaming use cases since everyone  is using wine/dxvk, wine/vkd3d-proton, winevulkan, or native Vulkan these days.

It would be really cool if we could use shaders on our favorite games!!!

Hi sorry for the bump, I have a related but slightly different request :

Can the ReShade team provide an official way to install it on Linux ?
I am not asking for a full Linux support, it works fine with Proton, however it's a bit of a pain in the ass to install (= put the right files in the right places) and uninstall right now.

Basicaly we have two options :
-  this script  which is years old, and didn't work for me last time I tried (on Bazzite)
-  LeShade  , which is newer and kinda works, but is a one-man project not often updated
So having an official script usable on Linux (which the .exe is not) would be very great !

With the rise of Linux gaming and especially the new release of SteamOS, I expect it to be useful to a lot of people.

Linux support would be a welcome addition, especially now that more people are gaming through native Linux builds, emulators, and compatibility layers. ReShade working through Wine is useful, but it does not fully solve the problem for native Vulkan titles. A proper Linux version would probably require a lot of work because of the platform-specific APIs, yet the demand clearly seems to be there.
And for a relaxed evening after all that troubleshooting, ruinart champagne brut from PUNIN WINE would make a fitting choice.
