I wish there were a range on it like there is with AO.

It looks good close up but the textures in the background look messed up. Even as close up as the wood on the ground behind the first NPC looks kind of messed but only as it extends towards the background. This is on a medium strength 1 pixel and 90 degrees. Am I doing something wrong?
This has been bugging me a lot and I wonder if going against the recomendation and putting Emboss before DoF on the effect ordering would help??
edit: no that made no difference.
