help with sweetfx and xcom

hi,
hope this is the right place to post this
having trouble getting sweetfx to work with xcom enemy within, had it working last night but when I went to play today it keeps crashing on the launcher
I have tried reinstalling the game outside of the program folder,,checking the permisions running as adm etc, but no luck
here is the log file//

full path: E:\GAMES\steamapps\common\XCom-Enemy-Unknown\XEW\Binaries\Win32\
redirecting CreateDXGIFactory
redirecting D3D11CreateDeviceAndSwapChain
removing D3D11_CREATE_DEVICE_SINGLETHREADED flag

any help would be great . thx
