How hard would it be to replicate this animated VHS shader, with rehsade? With all that stuff like flickering chromatic aberration, jittery image, blur waves and timestamps.

I saw your vids, the "definitive edition" one looks pretty good. I'm not sure what it is though, a Unity asset? Can it be used with any game, or how does it work?matsilagi wrote: I have something similar, but its paid and i can't post it.

Its a port of a Unity asset for ReShade.
It works like any ReShade shader, however, having the asset allows me to easily configure it, using Unity as a GUI to configure it.

I'm confused, the "definitive edition" footage of yours looks very different from your released reshade shader. How did you make that video?

Well ,thats because the early released one used other VHS-Like shaders taken from shadertoy, the one from "Definitive" (Which isn't definitive btw, it will be when i fix the Phosphor trail effect on reshade) is directly ported from unity to ReShade
Hence why i can't post it.

So wait, in the latest video you made, "ReShade VHS Pro - Definitive Edition", which has proper looking VHS effects, is a reshade shader version that isn't released and you can't post?

Exactly, because its ported from unity.

I see, well that's a shame. It looks great and pretty much just what I'm looking for.
