I was just playing an old game with a flat grass terrain texture and this popped into my head, I dont have a clue if it would work in reality though but this is my thoughts on how it would (without a thorough understanding of reshades limits)
Would it be possible for this would be shader to read from the depth buffer, ignoring geometry such as architecture and models and only apply it to the ground, analyzing the pixel colour of the ground and only applying the shader based grass to the pixel colour of the grass texture in the game?
