After seeing this in action it just has to be added to ReShade, its just that damn good .

Is there any brave warriors here who can undertake such a task?

I agree it's amazing expecially if combined with crt/scanlines, a game changer for 2d pixel games. Let's hope it gets added!

All I can do is offer various help/knowledge in emulators and open source programs in exchange for someone helping with this conversion.

ScaleFX (and all of its variants) for Reshade would be a godsend for 2D games.
