Hey all, I've been working for about a week trying to get shaders working for Dragon Age Inquisition, and it seems I get a new problem each time I figure out an old one.

Deets:
Windows 8.1
Nvidia GeForce 660ti

Running K-putt'e's configuration

On-screen error message upon game load:
ReShade 0.14.0.685 by Crosire
Compiling effect ... Failed!

This error message, the ReShade greeting, and the Statistics continue to display after I have loaded up a save, and do not fade away.

Both times I have tried using ReShade (first was several days ago before I just uninstalled and did a clean install of the game) shaders have not applied, and the key codes for toggling and screenshot did/do not perform any action.

I have to admit that I am more of a GUI-oriented person, so I can't even begin to troubleshoot this on my own. I'm willing to learn more about what would be causing this so I can do self-service in the future, though, because I can't get RadeonPro to work at all properly.

Error sounds like you saved "SweetFX_settings.txt" with UTF-8 (or any other similar) encoding, but the compiler only understands ANSI. You can convert the file with most text editors, Notepad++ allows that in the encoding dropdown menu at the top for instance ("Convert to ANSI").

Oh man, it's been so long since I last used Notepad++ it had to do a major update XD

But it worked! And I figured out the proper code setting for the Statistics display. Thank you so much!

It seems that ReShade is overriding any keybinding settings in SweetFX:

While the Scroll Lock key works to toggle effects on/off (as defined in the ReShade settings file), none of the above three settings register when those keys are pressed in-game. Is it an issue with the way the SweetFX settings in this section are written? They seem to be the only setting using "=" between the setting description and definition.

Those are for Boulotaurs injector, ReShade ignores them. There is no reload key, because settings are automatically reloaded when editing and saving the file and the screenshot key is hardcoded to "Print Screen".

When trying to update SweetFX presets in game in Witcher 2 I get no effect changes, just an "Already Compiled" message.
I've added multiple effects and increased the settings to what should be a more than noticeable level with no change.
This is running the game in windowed mode while editing with Notepad++
It updates ReShade settings just fine. Am I missing something?

Excuse me for bringing this topic up again. But may I ask why is the screenshot key hardcoded to "Print Screen"?
I've been wanting to change it but just now I realized I wouldn't be able to do so. Hope there's a way to do it though. At least in the future!

No real reason, except that the "Print Screen" button kind of makes sense for screenshooting =)

Yup, that is completely true.
Although, when I'm playing a game in a dark environment, at night, with all lights off, it's hard to individualize that key.That's why I've been meaning to change it to the space bar, which is far more noticeable. Kinda like in MasterEffect!

I would really appreciate if there was a way to change it, please! THANK YOU!
