How to uninstall unused effects/shaders?

So to test out the program I installed all the shaders and effects for PUBG, and tried them all. Now I have chosen the ones I like, how do I uninstall the rest of them that I don't use and don't want it to load each time I play but never activate them?

Remove them from the folder. That's it.

When I tried that, it would not load the settings and gave me an error. The menu in the game then contained no shaders at all.

Figured out what I did wrong. I had removed some files other than *.fx, like the *.fxh files.
