MXAO shader not working correctly in The Sims 4

Instead of actual shadows like it is in my the sims 3 game, the shadows in my sims 4 one seem to enclose the sims/objects rather than look like shadows. When I checked the log I get this error message "D:\Games\The Sims 4\ShadersA0x00000000186F5500(78,10-20): warning X4008: floating point division by zero" but I have no clue what that means.
