MartyDOF, how to avoid edge blur?

I'm trying to blur the background but it also blurs the edges on my character, how can I avoid this?

This doesnt happen with the GP65DOF, but I think MartyMcFlyDOF looks better overall, so If someone know how to fix this I'd be really happy.
