I think the LUT shader needs some improvement or updates it's been 10 years and it's still so limiting and outdated

I'm trying to use different image sizes other than 32 xy × 32 tiles and 64 × 64

How can I get 256 xy × 16 tiles to work I tried everything horizontally and vertically... it just shows very distorted colors
