So ReShade can be useful outside of gaming, in the context of applying calibration LUTs to the previews of video editing applications . However, ReShade has no concept of windows or monitors, so it only has one preset and it always applies it to all windows on all monitors. Thankfully ReShade instances are separate so it is possible to turn off processing in the GUI window/monitor, and leave it on for the video preview, but this has to be done each time the program is launched.

It would be very nice if I could tell ReShade to only activate on the 2nd monitor, or even better - have different presets for different monitors. This would probably also benefit players of flight simulators that use multiple monitors.

Thanks!

So, did some thinking and this should be possible to do. Will experiment a bit.

This is implemented in a side-branch for now: github.com/crosire/reshade/tree/monitor_config
Each monitor gets a unique "ReShade X.ini" config file (where X is a monitor index). So presets etc. are unique to each monitor.
