As a multiple os user, I would say support for MacOS would also be nice to have. I have multiple os. I have Windows 10, but I'd use Mac. The 2013 Mac runs also runs as smooth as Windows 10 I bought in Mid-2017. Vulkan and Metal are about the same I'd say. Sometimes if the macbook is near me and I'm lazy, I could open it up and use the shaders without getting up if I just wanted a glimpse outside reality.

My laptop runs 5 fps on shaders, so I think my 2013 macbook would be the same. (Just don't make fun of me) I think latest macbooks are about the same as gaming laptops. I know developers would have to control updates Mac, Windows, Linux, and etc than they could handle. I just wanted to suggest that it would be immacculate to have Reshade on MacOS.

Developers would have to learn Metal APIs and such and try to convert Windows commandlines to Mac. Yet, Mac has serious securities, so they would have to ask for your administrator permission everytime they open the same game that has reshade installed in order to use dll in apps. Wine would be a good option, but keep in mind they get out dated sometimes. Kernal can't support them at this time due to the anti-exploit stuff. MacOS Catalina and above can't even support Wine yet due to the 64-bit only update.

"I think latest macbooks are about the same as gaming laptops." no way AT ALL, mac are by far the worst for gaming. why do you think they have never made a gaming computer? i quote from crosire "Not going to happen. Too much of the codebase is Windows specific." so there is your answer :)

if you really want to play reshade try getting bootcamp and installing windows on your mac
