Subject: Incompatibility between Stremio and ReShade overlay interfaceDear Support Team,I'm a regular user of the
Stremio application and have been trying to use the
ReShade post-processing tool (version 6.5.1) to improve the visual quality of streamed content. The installation was successful, and all visual effects are being applied correctly — which confirms that the ReShade files were injected as expected. However, I'm unable to access ReShade's settings menu during use with Stremio. None of the keyboard shortcuts — including the default
Home key or alternative bindings configured in the
file — are able to trigger the graphical interface (overlay). Upon investigation, I noticed that although the effects are being rendered, the ReShade interface never appears. This seems to be related to the graphical architecture used by Stremio (likely Electron/Chromium-based).Even when manually copying configuration files from another application, the effects continued to display in Stremio — but without any way to interact with ReShade via shortcuts or access its interface.I’d like to ask:
- Is there any plan for ReShade to support applications based on Electron, such as Stremio?
- Is there an advanced setting that could enable the overlay interface in this environment?
If there are known technical limitations, I would deeply appreciate any guidance or consideration for future updates that might enable compatibility with graphic enhancement tools like ReShade. I truly value the work your team does and would love to take advantage of ReShade in this context as well.Thank you in advance for your attention.
