OpenGL problems with ReShade 6.5.1

Hi, 

I'm having issues with using the OpenGL version of ReShade 6.5.1 on Final Fantasy VIII (2013 version ) , OpenGL works fine with Reshade 3, and DirectX 10-12 works fine on 6.5.1. However I'm trying to use some other graphics enhancements that rely on DirectX9 so using DIrect X 10-12 isn't really an option and Reshade 3 is a .... tad out of date.  

I believe my issue is similar to this one  OpenGL problems with ReShade 4.0 - ReShade Forum  (some kind of bad compiler optimisation ) because renaming OpenGL32.dll to dxgi.dll causes ReShade to start working but it's not exactly the same (no errors are generated the hooks simply do not attach when running as OpenGL.dll ).

Interestingly enough even Injecting the DLL manually using an Injector while it's name OpenGL.dll doesn't help even though the automatic injection from being named dxgi.dll works. 
If there's anything I can provide to help with the troubleshooting let me know. 

ETA - The other enhancement I had previously mentioned not working was a stupid configuration error on my part. Renaming OpenGL.dll to dxgi.dll does actually function as a perfectly fine workaround for me even if it's a bit odd but it's still probably not ideal for it to be necessary.

ReShade does not install DirectX hooks when installed as opengl32.dll by default. This behavior can be overriden in 6.6+ by setting the following in ReShade.ini:
[INSTALL]
HookDirectX=1
