Depth Buffer access in FFXIII in modern Reshade?

I tried searching different ways and couldn't find anything.  But basically, FFXIII requires MSAA to for hair rendering to be correct. However modern versions of ReShade won't allow access to the depth buffer because MSAA needs to be enabled. In older versions of Reshade, for example 4.7, it could access Depth without issues and you could apply depth based effects.
Why do I need this? Well I am trying to use ShaderToggler in order to disable the game's built in Bloom/DoF effects and replace them with reshade shaders instead. Because they are both very low quality and very aliased. (As far as I can tell they don't scale with resolution and are fixed to something that is like 0.25x0.25 of 1280x720 based on the original console versions. The effects look the same regardless of whether you render at 720p or 4k.)

Is this still possible somehow or am I out of luck?
Thanks
