System:
  • Windows 11
  • RTX 3060
  • Nvidia Driver: 610.62
Game Version: 1.4.48188

Reshade versions tested:
  • 6.7.3
  • 5.6.0
 What I tested:
  • Installed Reshade to
    ES2-Win64-Shipping.exe
  • Tested DirectX 11, DirectX 12, and Vulkan installs
  • Tested with and without add-on support
  • Disabled Discord overlay
  • Disabled NVIDIA overlay
Results:
  • DX11: Game launches, but no Reshade banner, no overlay
  • DX12: Game crashes on startup when Reshade's
    dxgi.dll
    is present.
The Error I get:

Additional findings:
  • ReShade.log
    never changes from the default placeholder file that says reshade was not loaded.
  • ReShade.ini
    remains mostly unchanged.
  • Using Process Explorer, I checked loaded modules for
    ES2-Win64-Shipping.exe
    .
  • The game loads:
    • C:\Windows\System32\dxgi.dll
    • C:\Windows\System32\d3d11.dll
    • C:\Windows\System32\d3d12.dll
It does not load the Reshade DLL from the game directory (
dxgi.dll
or
d3d11.dll
).

PS: Wanted to add images for clarification but imgur for some reason is not working for me. Help will be greatly appreciated.
