Anno 1404 History Edition - No depth buffer. Anno 2070 works fine.

Initially, the game didn't load at all until changing the Engine.ini.

There is no depth buffer information. Completely flat. It works fine for Anno 2070 which uses the same DirectX9 engine. Other effects work, such as Tonemapping/CAS.

I have tried addon support, DXVK (convert to Vulkan).
